       When I see the word schadenfreude, I’m reminded of farfegnugen, which reminds me of a cousin with a Squareback and his cartoon illustrated maintenance book. Then a small desire to own an old VW. I wait a couple minutes. Then the feeling goes away.

       @brianokken “Volkswagen repair for the compleat idiot“ by John Muir. Book literally changed my life. It’s where I was first empowered to DIY anything. And I still miss air- cooled VW’s so much.
