There is this bug in Mastodon.. not sure where and what exactly but it kinda blows up the database and all comes crashing down for a few seconds. Almost once a day these days and there's a fix in the work but I just recently learned this was into Mastodon itself and not our server configs etcThis really drove me crazy for so long cause I just couldn't find a solution but there was no way I could lol :blobcatgiggle: For now I try to keep on stand by for a quick reload if it takes too long

Btw, no info or anything is lost in these moments.. It's just 'halted' for a few seconds :ablobwink: So no worries, it's just annoying

@stux Does this cause the push queue to keep backing up? I've been having a similar issue for the past month that I thought was caused by the Sidekiq processes getting overwhelmed with traffic spikes, but now I'm thinking that every once in a while most the jobs in the push queue just fail because they can't connect to the remote instances. Everything just keeps backing up until I reboot the server and then Sidekiq is able to connect to the remote instances and process the enqueued jobs.

@stux There's a definitely an issue where deleting toots locks the database while a request runs and causes a queue to build up in Sidekiq. It's seems to be most noticeable if users follow people who delete their toots.

@simon_greenwood That will also be fixed in the next update! 💪 We're aware of that issue indeed
