I always told my therapist I was split in two and it makes all the more sense now, as, as I get better and more integrated, I can see that there is a me that is part of this kind of internal world that has been a product of my being more open and myself online v. my irl persona. In many ways the two overlap a lot or are similar enough, and neither of them are really "not me"--they just have different concerns and priorities, so that in a few or a couple of ways they are at odds. I feel that this is coming to a close soon enough though, as I apologize to myself.

Mirrors are a little odd to look at nowadays, as if my appearance diverges further. As if I'm taking care of some other person every day. But I owe at least that to it for now, since before I just left it alone without as much care or consideration.

It's like, if I can't take care of that at minimum, how will I be able to Bring It Along on my journey to.. Who knows.

@mrjunge@raru.re Is that some other person the one you're coming from (the "old one") or the one you're going to (the "new one")?I'm understanding it's the "old one". Am I right?

@cinnamon Sure, but ultimately they are neither as both of them will simply be transformed in the union. "Old" implies leaving it behind. A completely clean break from the past.
