       @Voline a regional airport near me still allows leaded aviation fuel. Planes take off, accelerate over an elementary school, and then take their corporate execs to wherever they're going.

       @footsteps @Voline Planes with piston engines are generally not allowed to run on anything else. Last September, the FAA approved an unleaded fuel (G100UL) for all planes, but it is not yet readily available.

       @mansr @Voline yes, thank you for the clarification. Clearly, my local airport couldn't make that kind of call. I'm not sure if the school in the flight path makes that disclosure.It's interesting that during the pandemic, traffic at that airport picked up considerably. Mostly private jets.
