       40 years ago, when I was 12, my nerd friend and I told the class bully that he was a member of the genus Homo. He loudly disavowed this, which we found hilarious until he kicked both of our asses for laughing.The difference between me and Elon is that 1) I was the person using words, not the bully who didn't understand them.2) I outgrew it.

       @ct_bergstrom Facebook has the same policy, enforced by automod. It's ridiculous for many reasons including the blatant transphobia - it's *exclusively* used to punish trans people who aren't "in our place." I never saw anyone get banned for chemistry, or even a "super straight" homophobe/transphobe get banned for using the word. Only trans people.To see him adopt this really does show just how deeply he's committed to hating us.
