       WhatsApp has been kicking ass on new features, and it’s exposing some shortcomings in Signal’s priorities the last 1-2 years. It makes Signal a tougher sell, especially for outside the US where WhatsApp dominates. Just a few cool features now missing from Signal: Companion mode to use Whastapp on multiple phones, chat lock, editing messages.Clearly, WhatsApp has almost unlimited resources, vs Signal is a small team releasing features with safer implementations, but the avg user won’t care.

       And I’m a massive fan of signal, and even support them monthly. Just voicing my concerns if Signal can’t keep up with features found in their competitors and how it’ll make life more challenging for those of us on Signal :)
