@Linux @DanTheDev I have a very script that uses the openai API. I call it gnome. I run gnome in my terminal and I can talk to it. want to integrate function calls and some nice conversation management. tbh at the moment its pretty useless. gonna try and integrate it into the telegram bot APIIts terrible at linux.

@sudo @Linux @DanTheDev for AI I use these as PWAs, also in Mobilehttps://andisearch.comhttps://www.perplexity.aihttps://phind.com (specially for devs)All from small indie startups.ChatGPT forks don't have access to datas in real time, they have a data source which in ChatGPT is from 2021. Because of this the answers are needed to take with a grain of salt. Only Ai combined with websearch have access to informacion in real time. Pure Chatbots only are usefull (maybe) locally.

@Linux @sudo @DanTheDev, they can probably update the knowledge base, but the most complete information cannot be provided by a knowledge base, only the internet itself. Andisearch has its own language model and Perplexity is an internet-enabled ChatGPT, similar to Phind, but more focused on finding scripts and codes.

@Linux @sudo @DanTheDev, Search engines are used very often and if they have AI to be able to give a reliable direct answer to a direct question, all the better. Both in the browser, where it is naturally used the most, as well as PWAs on the Desktop, where you can ask them in between without having to open the browser. On my mobile I have, instead of the Google search bar on the screen, the Andisearch one that I saved as a PWA. Andisearch is the one I use the most.

The development had slowed down due to what I thought was lack of interest, but I may start working on it again if people are still interested. The new repo is at https://github.com/CoffeeAssistant/Assistant (still called Fiosa!). Contributions are always welcome.
