I simply miss having trustworthy friends. Where have they all gone? How do you make new ones when you have trust issues from previous friends stabbing you in the back, and/or having hidden agendas?Any advice is welcome. Thanks :)

@justsomedude I'm old and have had many friends come and go over the years and I've learned that it's not always a bad thing. I also didn't plan on outliving some of them.Take what I say with a grain of salt. Stay true to yourself. Maybe this is a time meant for rest, spiritual and emotional, a time to recharge. Friends will come. It's better to have one than many who may not be willing or able to stand with you if it becomes necessary.God bless you Dude.

@justsomedudeEverybody has an agenda. You do too. What needs to be in alignment is your agendas. Then, you're friends. For example, my agenda is to spend quality time with like-minded folks.Others share that agenda. We have great conversations on FA and in-person breakfasts, too.I rarely engage in conversation that's adversarial in nature. Sniping is too easy on social media. If someone is snippy in their response to something I've posted, I ignore them:Our agendas do not align!
