Speaking of cars, my car is running again today! I know a lot of people on here hate cars, but at present, I find it a little difficult to get around my city without one. If it were a lot more bike-friendly, I would gladly do that instead! (They're improving at least.)

There is an ongoing project called the Beltline here, which is connecting a lot of green space and different parts of the city. That helps people who use bikes and scooters, etc., to get around, and it also leads to more residences that pop around its development. It started as someone's grad school thesis!!

@calculsoberic Iām in kind of the same boat. Some parts of my city are great for bikes but some are awful. There are at least three unavoidable sections of road between me and my workplace that just feel too dangerous to me š

@jph Oh, you see what I mean then!! @stux and some other people were talking about the biking culture in their countries and I said "I wish it were like that here!!"

@calculsoberic Wow, in Atlanta too! Now we just need some environmental action to be taken in Florida as well. Jacksonville is literally impossible to navigate without a car
