@yuri@social.nekover.se esun eTwinkling PLAit looks pretty but i wouldn’t really recommend it. it’s very rough, and the glitter particles look like they might be big enough to cause clogs especially with CHT nozzles. hasn’t happened for me yet though…

@mia hmm i might still wanna try to print with glitter PLA :02_lurk: i found this purple PLA https://www.amazon.de/ZIRO-Glitter-Filament-Dimensional-Accuracy/dp/B0869827W7which looks very dark on the pictures (i love dark purple!) and I think it might look cool for some decorative parts on my printer

@yuri@social.nekover.se that looks the same as the esun filament (it looks lighter in the pic i’ve posted because the walls are thin and my printer has very bright LED lighting). the warning about the nozzle diameter is probably there for a reason. i’m kinda wary of glitter filaments in general, as much as i like them… even prusament, which uses much finer particles, once clogged a non-CHT nozzle for me. could not get the stuff out even with a needleif you’re looking for nice PLA, i really like this matte filament here: https://www.redline-filament.com/collections/pla-matttheir silky filaments are pretty good too. very shiny. just avoid the yellow and orange PLA; the colorants they use will leave residue everywhere (nozzle, print bed, etc), cause bed adhesion problems, and will leach into anything even slightly acidic. i think even the fatty acids on human skin are enough to make that happen…
