@gaige Honestly I like your photographs, they feel like authentic photos taken back in the '70s and '80s, which in my opinion has a certain charm to it 😅 I always kinda wanted to get one such old camera of my own, but I assumed they'd be rare, expensive and/or hard to maintain or use (since you have to manually develop their photographs). How's your experience using that instax?

@SimplyTadpole the camera itself is pretty decently priced, it's the film that sets you back quite a bit. i have gotten it a bit cheaper than the retail price since i knew the cashier, but it still set me back about 100 euros to buy 2x 2-packs of mini film, 2x 2-packs of square film and a pack of batteries.a couple of years ago, i bought film on ali express, and it worked quite well. if you can afford it, buy larger quantities of film from someplace like that. what i dont like about my instax 8 and the sq6 i borrowed is that there is no battery indicator telling you how much juice you have left. ruined a pack of film because the picture jammed itself when the battery died

@SimplyTadpole the instax and similar instant cameras develop the pictures right after you click the shutter button, so you dont have to do much about that. no mixing chemicals to develop in a dark room is needed
