I think ef-elea-dark of prots ef-themes is going to be my new #emacs theme: https://protesilaos.com/codelog/2023-06-18-ef-elea-dark-light/I just love everything about this color scheme!

@thees Today I made ef-elea-light my new daily driver and put a toggle in my new transient menu:(setq ef-themes-to-toggle '(ef-elea-dark ef-elea-light))

@louis that looks pretty awesome! Also the transient menu solution for toggling seems cool; I have a time-based theme toggling functionality on my TODO but haven’t had time to code it yet, basically the idea is to have a light theme throughout the day and automatically toggle to a dark theme at night; still have to figure out how to do it though.

@louis I'm on GNU/Guix and NixOS mostly; but my window manager config is pretty minimal and doesn't do timebased switching (mostly because I rarely have visible gtk elements); in theory I could do something like:[Settings]gtk-application-prefer-dark-theme=1to prefer a dark-theme or set it to 0 to prefer a light theme; and see if I can access this configuration from within emacs. My other approach would be to use midnight-mode (https://www.emacswiki.org/emacs/MidnightMode) and toggle my theme choice with a hook to said mode.

@thees Of just use this:https://melpa.org/#/theme-changerIt will change themes based on your location's sunset times.

@louis thanks for this, this looks like a battery-included solution to what I want to do!
