One thing that frustrates me about #Linux and "normie" users.I hear things like "Oh, sounds like Linux IS hard to use!" in reference to my frustration noises as I hammer away at my keyboard. It's basically impossible to get a "normie" to understand that - no, Linux isn't difficult. The thing I'm trying to DO right now is difficult. It'd be just as difficult on any other OS, if it's even possible in that OS.

@hellomiakoda i kind of disagree. as a linux and windows user [and like 1% mac] accomplishing tasks in *nix [short of web browsing] IS more difficult and has more random unexpected issues. thats just... fact..

@bscabl @hellomiakoda you just gave one task: web browsing, as being almost constant, i think. cinematographical editing, i agree, is hardest on a linux based os. what are 4 difficult tasks?

@nergal @bscablI would probably put music production in the "worse on linux" category. Gaming is a bit worse too, but it keeps getting better and better.Basic computing feels much nicer on linux (especially on GNOME) imo.
