       🥵 our first official 100 degF (37.8 C) day here per my home weather station. Used to be that 100degF days were not that frequent and when we did get them it would be later in the summer. But now they start in June. I mean technically it’s not even summer yet. I try to plant heat tolerant plants in my garden that can survive Houston summers but I’ve found that once it gets above 96 or so all bets are off. #heat #heatwave #climate #ClimateChange #gardening

       @Trilobyter our hottest day so far this season today in Phoenix so it’s 105° right now. Just went to a local farm and got fresh tomatoes and red potatoes. They have great big watermelons too but maybe for only a couple weeks. They only have a few weeks more when they close up for the summer.

       @Trilobyter My fears as well. Lots of shade and a different way to set up houses and infrastructure helps, but we'll need the plants and they will need our help 🙁
