.... how do people listen to and manage plain old mp3/4s these days. Is Plex any good at it?

@arrdem Here is my tried and true method:1) Go to local library. Get infinite number of audio-books on CD.2) Copy CD. I use CDex, but you can use anything.2.5) Rename your files so that they're sequential.3) Import folder with audiobook mp3s into podcast app like AntennaPod. Podcast apps will do a good job of maintaining your last listening position.

I didn't know AntennaPod could do that. Is it just a desktop version that can do that or the mobile version as well?

At the library in town, they don't have CDs for some reason, just these silly little players that come with ear buds.I suppose they do fit in to the pocket easier though.

@Hyolobrika @arrdem to my knowledge it's a mobile-only client. it is for android devices. i haven't used an ios device in a very long time, but i would be surprised if no podcast apps on that platform didn't have an "import folder" feature.

Oh wait. There is an "add local folder" button. I just didn't see it.
