@SapientPearwood Pre war Ukraine had a population of around 43 million assuming a 3rd of them are military age men and i think the casualties around so far for ukraine are around 130k to 300k, so it could be a while

@PinochetsCommieCopter @SapientPearwood That census was based on on the old borders and is 20 years old, emigration population decline and the very populated parts in the east breaking off AND war refugees probably means that the population is closer to 30 million which places recruitable population at about 3 million men under arms. Still a long way to go though but not as high. My estimate is about 6% of the population has been mobilized. Now you don’t need to kill or wound all 10% of recruitable population to end the war, but I would place Ukraine casualties before the war is over at 1.5 before it’s utterly untenable on that basis alone.
