       I am evaluating where I got next, and one of my options has a HUGE ban list, as well a bunch of servers they've "limited". Can someone help me understand how a "limited" server would affect me? It appears that if you follow accounts from a limited instance you'll still see there content, but I am wondering what would happen if someone say boosts an account I don't follow from a limited instance, would I see that or not?

       @fancysandwiches from my mod. Hope it helpsThere are two levels of moderated actions between instances. 1. Limited. This one allows interactions between accounts that already follow each other. Any new 'follows' from the limited instance will result in a request to follow. This allows you to review followers from an instance that may have spam or abuse issues.2. Suspend. This one is equivalent to a 'block' or 'defederation', and it blocks all interactions with the suspended instance.

       For example: let's say the server I am on limits Server AI follow a person from Server A, I will see their posts. If that person boosts another account from Server A (that I don't follow) will I see the boosted post?If I follow someone from Server B, a fully federated server, and they boost someone from Server A, will I see the boosted post?Will people from Server A see my posts if someone they follow boosts them on their timeline?

       @fancysandwiches as far as I can tell if you follow/they follow everything is as expected. But when ppl from a muted server respond, you can’t see that and I don’t think they can see your activity. It’s annoying when trying to follow threads. You have to click thru to the other person’s timeline and scroll to find response. I wish there was a “show me the response” like it was a CW.

       @gretared Awesome, thank you for helping me figure this out. It certainly seems less than ideal when dealing with muted servers, hopefully that gets resolved with time, even if it's an opt-in feature.
