       ‚Soul Machine’ is great. It describes the gradual transition from Scholastic knowledge systems anchored in Christian religion to Western science focused on mechanical ideas up until the 19th century. @bookstodon

       @FroehlichMarcel @bookstodon "Soul Machine" is indeed interesting. A nice history of the big philosophers like Hobbes, Locke, Descartes, etc. I have read it in the #library today - at least partially. 500 pages is a bit long for a single day 🙂
