@aj @thedude33 Canyon County has long been a haven vs the Great State of Ada (Boise).What I can't fully get a handle on (yet) is how much the absolute Mormonization of Meridian, Kuna, etc has altered the balance of things in Ada County.Times have changed a lot since I was a kid... with not just Ada, but Canyon County.

@aj @thedude33 The LDS in Idaho who went to (or their kids go to) State schools like Boise State, Idaho State, or even Utah State, are very different than the BYU people. Not sure how many of these massive move-ins are more conservative old-school, or BYU (wanna-be east-coasters).

@aj @thedude33 If I have to give an opinion on Treasure Valley Mormons, my comment is: Which KIND of Mormons. People who have ties to Idaho, or Sagebrush Rebellion types from Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, etc.? Or Corporate Mormons from wherever? Totally different kinds of people, when it comes to community and local issues.

@thedude33 @aj My Family is a rabble of long-timer Idahoans, strewn from Yellowstone to Rexburg, Idaho Falls, Pocatello, Burley/Twin Falls, Jerome, Boise, Canyon County and into Eastern Oregon.I'm going to guess that we'd see certain things quite differently than folks from other places, with different backgrounds.
