       I mean it gets to their whole worldview right? Always looking backward. A Nazis idea of art is simply reproducing "David" over and over and over and over and over again because the whole purpose of the Nazis's existence is to freeze society at the exact moment they view themselves as on top.They literally cannot be, or do, anything else; the way they see the world, dictates that they cannot create. It's fundamental core personality/belief/ideas about the world stuff.

       @AnarchoNinaWrites National Socialism was very much a right-wing futurist movement, whatever its other flaws. Many right-wing movements are backwards looking, but that critique doesn't apply to the National Socialist movement. Or at least as it existed in the 1930s and 40s. Those who idolize the aesthetic without thinking beyond it would in fact be guilty of this. Regardless Year Zero leftism is far worse than stagnant conservatism, because it's about tearing down and obliterating everything that came before as wicked, and leaves society with nothing.
