       The classic Apple bitmap font "Chicago" tries to avoid aliasing by sticking to 90° and 45° angles in letters like W, M and K.However, this idea is much older than that. This pixel font is from a French embroidery book printed in 1527.The previous two pages sample a blackletter font.
