@stux Seems a good name for it while it's still a bit alpha at least. Sets expectations.I don't think that federation is working quite right around the KBin network yet, for reasons that are larger than just the capcha on kbin.social.

@stux Assuming nginx, you need this: { location /.well-known/mercure { proxy_pass http://127.0.0.1:3000$request_uri; proxy_read_timeout 24h; proxy_http_version 1.1; proxy_set_header Connection ""; proxy_set_header X-Forwarded-For $proxy_add_x_forwarded_for; proxy_set_header X-Forwarded-Host $host; proxy_set_header X-Forwarded-Proto $scheme; }

@stux @rodti @supernovae What seems to be the problem are the permissions.I just `chmod 777`ed the entire `public/media/` folder and......... now it works...More here: https://codeberg.org/Kbin/kbin-core/issues/237

@BentiGorlich @stux @supernovae Permissions are fine but there are a couple of problems. One is that many remote images have /media/cache/restore in the URL but there is no ‘restore’ subfolder in the file system. Also kbin has been dumping lots of the media subfolders ( for example /01/ab) at the same level as the /cache subfolder

@rodti @stux @supernovae Just to keep you up-to-date:Ok, so what I did now (and I hope that fixes it) is change my supervisor config at `/etc/supervisor/conf.d/kbin-messenger.conf`I had both services in there ([doc](https://codeberg.org/Kbin/kbin-core/wiki#setup-supervisor)) running under the `kbin` user, since the `ubuntu` user in the doc does not exist. I changed it to `www-data`Since I've done that, I have not had any problems... We'll see
