No tooteo hace un buen rato. ¿Pero alguien tiene algún tip para aumentar la productividad? Siento que soy muy flojo en mis estudios y vida diaria en general, e incluso siendo consciente no logro hacer las cosas como me gustaría...#productividad

@racsu@mastodon.social How do you usually study? As far as I know, people have different study styles, and I can't give useful suggestions if yours is very different from mine 😅(Replying in English as I can understand a bit of Español due to its similarities to Italian but I can't write in it at all...)

@steffo I also make a post on English in case haha, the fact is that when I was a kid i never really need to study, because I basically pay attention to class or already know what they were teaching to me, but right now I'm doing homeschooling on other grades, with another age, and I really need to study to understand, but I can't, because I never do it before, I don't have a method or a way to do the things..

@racsu@mastodon.social Personally I learn well by trying to explain and discuss what I learned with others.Lately, my main method for (academic) studying has been using #Obsidian to build a small wiki of the various concepts of the subject and using its diagrams to better understand how they're connected with each other, resolving inconsistencies in terminology and detecting what I would not be able to talk about if asked at the relative exam in order to focus on it.

@steffo that sounds really well for study, I like to explain stuff that I like to remember things (coff coff Linux) so I probably will try something like this with the things that I need to improve...About #Obsidian i never really give it a chance but I really should when I have the time, I really like #Joplin to take my notes anyway!Pd:why I feel like I use too much "i" when my post is on English, at this point my brain is confused with this language...

@racsu@mastodon.social I've never used it, but I think #Joplin might be fine too!I spend too much time hopping around tools, I find learning new workflows more fun that actually applying them 😂Last semester for example I used #Notion, but I quit as soon as they added the awfully implemented AI features...(P.S.: your usage of I is fine; English uses it a lot more than Spanish and Italian, as the subject is never implicit 😄)

@steffo @racsu Joplin works great if you’re using the same platform on all devices. If you use the android version and desktop versions, sometimes updates aren’t ready at the same time and it affects the app’s ability to read your files for a bit. I switched to Obsidian for that reason, with Omninotes on android if it’s something I don’t need to keep track of for very long.
