It's been a shit show for a while. In 2020, everything left got banned ...thousands of subs, and none of these whiney ass cunt nuggets gave a shit. There's literally nothing left to save. It's a left-wing cesspool of authoritarianism and hate. If these people come to the #Fediverse, the quality of this entire platform will degrade rapidly. We can only hope that they'll immediately get into this fediblock bullshit and separate themselves from the better parts.

@tchambers Nah, I’ll keep using Reddit. What 3rd party apps don’t want to admit is the pricing is fair, especially if they charge for the app and block ads on Reddit. They effectively want their cake and eat it. Get rich off Reddit while giving nothing back. It’s hypocritical.

We are certainly on the other "side" of the fediverse ... if I go onto an alt on an instance that bans everything, there is an entirely different view/threads/timelines. It's a pretty stark contrast.Nostor is really interesting in the way it forces blocking and censorship to the individual level. I'm curious to see what happens with it.

Additionally, I want all platforms to be open and allow curiosity and critique of the status quo. This means I want anyone to be able to join in, so everyone can learn and improve together.The problem is that some people don't want to learn and improve, they just want to be victims. Trying to get these people to shed their imaginary shackles, however, makes them even more vile. They will do everything in their power to ruin your life, get you fired, make sure you can't afford to have a home, make false rape claims, whatever it takes to hurt you. They will do this if you try to actually deal with them.The best means of "dealing" with them is to ensure they think they have taken something from you and are parading it in your face. That's what #Twitter was. There seems to be no other way of dealing with them that doesn't involve excessive suffering to innocent people and yourself.

I wish there was a reasonable alternative, but those seem to have been long gone.Making them "think" they won is the way to encourage more people to become like themI don't know about that, it might encourage people who were thinking in that way to begin with, but reasonable people simple aren't as vile in their mindsets to want to use their tactics. It requires a very horrid personality to enjoy life the way they do.we just somehow allowed big money to interfereI mean, we all know how, because of corruption. And the corruption was never dealt with, because the people who could were the ones being paid off. Now, there happens to be a particular country where they have a constitutional right to certain tools to deal with this in a more aggressive way, but it seems this right is not being exercised in any way so far.

I can still see the problems, but I know that actually trying to face them myself, will just make me more miserable while other people walk away again.
