There’s also food companies paying for researchers to write articles promoting false information about food. For example in the 1980s sugar companies published research blaming fat for heart problems and not sugar so Americans would want “low fat” and not “low sugar” foods. I actually have some funny stories about it. Other black people hated her because she graduated top of her class and got a masters degree. They called her an "Oreo" and she had mostly white friends because black people thought she was "too white". Turns out they hate each other when one of them tries to actually be successful.
