I haven’t been able to find all the right groups of people on the fediverse. And this makes me sad. I follow a group of people in my field of work and a large # of people in the Apple development ecosystem. What I couldn’t find so far:* people that talk regularly about #vim #neovim* people that toot regularly about #comics #ComicBooks * people that listen to #Jazz and toot about the albums they are listening* people that listen to classical music and toot about those albums.Can you help?

I drink carbonated flavored water every now and then, those are pretty tasty. Also, I've cut down the amount of sugar in my sweet tea, so I've got that going for me.

I can remember my son and I eating some Panda Express and it just didn't taste right. Then I noticed everything either didn't have a taste or was "wrong". Some things got better with a lot of time, but most things stayed the same. Even smells were completely different. If you read around with symptoms like this, some people get their senses back, some don't.

@gordoooo_z @RL_Dane @sotolf @al3x Eyyyy another 60%-er!!!Yeah I use hjkl for swaywm, but also for all my mouse keys—I have my board mapped to manipulate the mouse pointer when holding tab (hjkl to move, fda to left middle right click, etc.) so I no longer need a mouse.

@sotolf @gordoooo_z @RL_Dane @al3x Inspired by you saying that in a previous thread I actually have a numpad layer now and I think my implementation was surprisingly intuitive for me. I use it fairly often.But I definitely don’t need a numpad enough to justify dedicated hardware for it. 60% is my ideal sizing. :)

Well, i3's directionals are offset by one, but I immediately remapped its JKL; madness to HJKL because I've always known vim would be in my future, I just never knew when. Not that I never use it, but I'm very very far from a power user. I can save. I can quit. I have yet to dive in.

@RL_Dane @sotolf @gordoooo_z @al3x They’re less portable, tho.Also I always have my keyboard right next to my laptop, and a 60% board’s width is identical to my laptop’s width, which is very aesthetically pleasing. I want the alphas aligned, so a TKL or 100% board would have a bunch extra hanging off to the right.

Deep diving into technical rabbit holes is my favourite thing to do, historically at the expense of what I should be doing instead, so part of being an adult for me has been holding back that urge at certain times until it happens on its own from pure necessity.When I do deep dive into vim, it will save me tons of time, not make me lose a day of work 😁
