oh, I forgot my wallet with my ID card in it, meaning that if a police officer asks me to present ID I'll be committing a crimebut I'm not doing anything illegal, so a cop shouldn't ask me to present ID, right?...right?

@flimpie you do not actually have to present your id when asked, you can refuse. If police had no actual reason to ask you in the first place, there is little they can do about it.

this was actually intended to be a reference to organizations such as amnesty rightfully complaining about police asking people for ID simply because they are existing in a specific spot or exercising their right to protestbut I just realised I didn't tap in for the tram so I'm not so sure I have any right to complain at this time lol
