       Pixeldrain is having trouble with the number of open TCP connections. It's often in the tens of thousands, reaching a hundred thousand during peak hours.I have decided to limit the number of concurrent downloads to 5 for free users.

       @fornax How will you tackle that problem? Some companies go as far as migrating to *BSD and rewriting parts of  its networking stack

       @saiv46 I'm currently running a custom kernel with a bunch of patches from cloudflare: https://github.com/cloudflare/linux that works pretty well.I also stopped using nginx in favour of using my own listening socket in Go.It can probably scale further but I'm waiting for some new hardware to arrive. The servers i have now are just barely keeping up.
