@stux As someone who does PHP things for a living, I'd imagine the thing written in Rust is gonna perform better than the thing written in PHP.

@stux Okay, seriously - I'm very interested in your thoughts on these platforms.They integrate somehow, right? KBin accounts see Lemmy and otherwise?I was a pretty heavy reddit user, and am very curious about the options.

@stux do you know of mastodon with pm functionality and encrypted?whats with lemmy unencrypted by default?thoose thing should be totally impossible to look at from hoster perspective. otherways you giving room for unethical use of this software. there is no need to build this flaw purposfully into a thing, that's not for profit. also content needs not to be adfriendly. privacy is the greater value. freedom of speech. we can have that!
