       Should stop overcaring my #mead and adjust unneeded things at the airlock and by that introducing baaad (harmful) microorganism into my mead. I let cooking hot tap water flow over the airlock, I hope that prevents some of it but now my #anxiety is biiig.Any soothing words, preferably by other hobby #brewers would be helpful

       @Em I make mead by getting a new bottle of water, pouring out some water, adding some honey and yeast, shaking the fuck out of it, and then putting on a pinholed balloon to serve as an airlock. Cheap and easy, throw it in the fridge for a few days once it stops bubbling.
