Very important for everybody to understand, that "child grooming" is right-wing code for "being gay". That's it. That's all it means in their language. Nothing nefarious to the rest of the world, just existing as a queer person. @ned @macg1llivray The concept of "child grooming" has been extended to anyone who provides young people with education (including fiction) that touches on sexuality in any way, including straight sex. And so teachers and librarians are being accused of "grooming" children. What these people are doing with their accusations is highly dangerous.

Many of the crowd focused on getting 12yo girls to start spouting kids then and there rely upon practices which most of the civilized world would classify as abusive and destructive child-rearing practices...... grooming, that is, their daughters to serve their older husbands in perpetuity.To render the word meaningless in that context and instead a slur against LGBT folks is thus a bipartite strategy.

A groomer is still a groomer, the fact that it might be gay or not is completely irrelevant.

There are some (some of whom happen to be family members) who truly care about children and have bought the lie that queer people are out for the kids. Those are the ones I'm interested in talking with. Expose the lie for what it is.
