@stux I’ve been on the fence with this one. I'm definitely on the Dev's side here, but this guy isn't the same as the guy from the other site. The guy at this site might SEEM the same, but I think he's just an idiot that will step down, maybe paving the way to bring back the par level we've seen for a while with Reddit. Or maybe I'm totally wrong and it's just exactly the same.

@stux 24 cents for 1k API calls is a "fuck you" price. #Reddit didn't want to look like they were shutting down the API, so they intentionally priced out everyone. They had to exclude 2 apps, RedReader and Dystopia, because the government was going to sue the hell out of them for excluding blind people if they didn't provide allow an app that was accessible for Android and iOS because the website sure as hell ain't

@stux been checking out Lemmy and Kbin today, I like being able to follow community threaded discussions over following people in chronological threads so i might like the software more than Mastodon.
