It, stopped....That was not a good signal tho, it stopped after some time in the charger but that doesn't mean it will be gone forever

@Quilly Glad it's working now, but that doesn't sound encouraging.I remember I bought a new battery for a used laptop I got, just because I wanted a longer battery life... and the new battery ended up dying, and I'm using the original battery to this day. :sweetunsure:

@Quilly I wouldn't sweat it too much, it is likely very frustrating, but we already know the old battery is smaller than the new one, and batteries losing capacity as they age is usually the failure mode. :fluttersad: Do you remember if it was sold as the same capacity as the one it replaced?

@SweetAIBelleYeah, batteries are a thing! :pinkiecrazy: I'm now confused on what i should do, try to return this one for precaution, or stay with it and see how it goes, oooh how i hate making choices like this :fluttershbad:

@LapsusYeah, every label on the battery says it has the same mAh as the originalWait, now I'm not sure anymore, and i forgot to take a picture of the battery itself, aaaah :raritycrying: But it was advertised as having the same capacity as far as i know

@Quilly Depending on where you got it, it may have been a used cell, or it may have just been a lie, considering how buying things on the internet goes sometimes.

@LapsusYeah, it's pretty certain that there was lies involved as they claimed to sell "legitimate batteries" (legitimate as like the original one) which i knew from the beginning it wasn't true but i hoped to get something usable at least, which it is currently doing, but it won't if it brings that weird annoying problem back againNow, it being a used one... Idk, that would mean there are/there were new units of smaller versions of the battery that this device originally had out there? Now saying it like that, it is possible huh...

@Quilly connectors are somewhat standardized, so if the connector and voltage / cell count match, it'll work. I'm guessing it might have been a recycled cell pulled out of some ewaste that happens to fit inside the phones case? Buying replacement batteries is really hit and miss sometimes, as it's really hard to gauge size and whatnot from a few pictures.

@Quilly This is why I always go for either clearly aftermarket batteries or... *shudders* taking it to the phone's service center.
