The leveling curve in #diablo4 is odd. My first character was close to level 50 at the beginning of act 3, and there’s several more to go. Maybe it was designed for world tier 1 only? Or with the assumption that you wouldn’t bother with any of the side quests before completing the main campaign? I wish I could switch to world tier 3 already.

@tuxicoman Most of the time, yes. It is uneven, though. A story boss might melt within seconds, but random minibosses might have several modifiers. Orange/red strongholds are still fun.The gear is definitely in endgame mode, and there can be several full hauls without anything even resembling an upgrade.

@hirvox ah, I would have thought the level scaling would allow the user to set an almost constant difficulty journey. Why putting level caps where the player could switch to a lower difficulty if outscaled?

@tuxicoman Well, it almost works that way. After the first few gates, you can theoretically do the first three acts in any order, but zones have minimum and maximum levels. So you can accidentally run into an area where the enemies are twice your level. Or if you skip act 1 and return later, you might be overleveled there.
