       So we got fedora moving towards flatpak everything and ubuntu moving toward snap everything these are going to be interesting times

       @codydragonrude in my opinion, snaps are crap as they run slowly and are highly unoptimised; whereas Flatpaks are mostly stable and actually open within 5 minutes of clicking it (unlike Firefox Snap XD).Also more dsitros support Flatpaks out of the box, whereas only Ubuntu uses Snap out of the box.

       @LinuxGamer What i like about flatpaks is they work on all distros and are not tied to whatever distros canonical approves like snaps which is why you see distros like void not really have official support for snaps but they do allow flatpaks in their repos alsosince void uses runit they can't even use snaps as it has a hard dependence on systemD which limits it even more
