       A sentence as weird as it is true: Meta's Metaverse project is a lot more ambitious than Apple's AR glasses. It's misguided and fallen out of time but it is a lot more complex.

       @tante In which way?  Metas idea is a spatial second life with gaming support. The Vision of Apple is to change the way we work with computers towards to obscured devices. For me, the latter is more interesting.

       @tante the technological aspect of mateverse was probably never the problem. the critique ans misguided ambition startet after the glasses. probably the glasses as a physical object were the only aspect that I was somewhat intrigued to try out.

       @moritz @andreclaassen exactly. It's basically a clunkier screen. No social integration, no actual 3D, it's Google Glass on steroids
