@LoveAlmonds Mostly these fires happen because of the extreme anti-logging rules that are so common in the blue states with large forests. The trees need to be thinned out but the environmentalist wackos won't permit it. So the trees grow old and die where they are, and become dried out timber. And the forest becomes a giant book of matches, and one dumb city slicker doesn't put out their campfire properly, and it sparks.... and there you go.A raging inferno that's largely preventable.

@aquanaut642 I would like to see that video.I remember some years ago, in Paradise, CA lots of people talked about anomalies regarding the fire.In the last 2 years, Calif., Oregon, and Washington had been set ablaze by arsonists. I look at NASA satellite images every day... there is no way that these fires line up perfectly in patterns if it was natural (lighting) or even hand-held arson... imo, these fires a lit in a precise way that can only be done by an exotic type of weaponry. These are used to start back burns or a fire line in hard to reach places. Mike Rowe did a story on GreenBack Fire management for his "Dangerous Jobs" series.
