@boilingsteam tech is definitely explorative and interesting. Would love to test it, but not own it.

@boilingsteam I won’t buy it, but I think it will inspire a lot the competitors.

@boilingsteam I have never and will never own an Apple product. Have too much value for privacy and security to give them a penny.

@boilingsteam most people would love to try it; much less would probably pay to keep it. Eye fatigue is real so I don't have any interest.

@boilingsteam No Android for me for a few years now. I use Ubuntu Touch on a Pixel 2 as my daily driver. I use a Pinephone CE with PostmarketOS as my backup (if battery life were better it would be my main). I am waiting to receive a Volla X23 later this year which will have Ubuntu Touch on it.

@boilingsteam I use web apps for Protonmail and Tutanota so I haven't tried their email client. App support in general is their weak spot and always has been. I find it to be a comfy OS that I enjoy using which I can't say for Android.

@PublicLewdness You can build hydroxide and use any normal IMAP client for Protonmail with it: https://github.com/emersion/hydroxideI think you can even cross compile it on a different machine with something like "GOARCH=arm GOOS=linux GO111MODULE=on go build ./cmd/hydroxide" and copy the binary to your phone. I didn't get it running on a phone, but I use it together with fetchmail and mutt, hydroxide part runs on a 32-bit ARM machine just fine.I have also managed to build official Bridge for ARM, but it has issues on 32-bit ARM, I think I should make a longer post about that, aarch64 should work I think. Anyway, it has more dependencies, namely pass and gnupg — not the things everyone has on their phones, that is why I think hydroxide, despite being a hack and not officially supported would suit better to being run on the phone. @boilingsteam
