This is not a “revolutionary” gadget, no matter how confident Tim Cook looks when he says it is. It’s a rare misfire, and a sign that Apple is losing its ability to turn tech-geek novelties into normie must-haves.        @twitnews I’m glad they are taking a chance on it. I don’t want to follow a tech industry that has no more room for aspirational products. People are poo-pooing this sight unseen. I’m not a day one adopter but I’m more than willing to be won over with a great experience and if there is anything to keep in mind with Apple its to never count them out.

       @twitnews while healthy skepticism and optimism are both valid opinions for this tech preview, this kind of adamant negativity is totally unwarranted. It’s too early for anyone to say anything this definitive about the #VisionPro.

       @twitnews as if MacBooks weren’t expensive enough. $2000 for a laptop with a 256g hard drive in 2023. Get outa here with that. Now they want $3500 for a headset? You could outfit a great desktop and get whatever headset you want for that price.
