I'll be speaking with Matthew Miller, the Fedora Project Leader in a few hours. So if anyone has any pressing questions about Fedora, the direction of #Linux or anything of the sort you'd like to ask let me know.

@BrodieOnLinux ask if they have any plans for accessibility, contributing to major desktop environments to add more, build tools with ui accessibility in mind, etc. Also, what does he think is the direction forward for wayland and assistive technology providers to work together? A wayland protocol extension to loosen the security model for accessibility dedicated applications, like magnifiers and screenreaders such as orca and odilia, or a simpler dbus api implemented by the compositor to do the same thing? Basically, should ATs connect to the compositor and talk the protocol, or use dbus and let the compositor gain a direct dbus dependency? Here are relevant links:* my ideas on p2p accessibility in a post-wayland worldhttps://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Accessibility/Accessibility/P2P/?updatedwayland accessibility issues, as of 2021:https://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Accessibility/Wayland/

@BrodieOnLinux 2.5 Questions:1. Is there currently something that actively holds back linux adoption?1.5 Is there something that holds back fedora?2. A more personal one: What is the best drink to make it through the day?

@BrodieOnLinux What are the future plans for Fedoras own Flatpak repo? Since Flathub is enabled out of the box now, are we able to plan on the future availability of "Fedora Flatpaks"?

@BrodieOnLinux If Fedora plans, in a near or far future, to make Fedora Silverblue the default? I think the recent evolution of image-based distros could allow it to make sense. Also Fedora is always on the bleeding edge in term of technology like with Wayland.

@BrodieOnLinux I have long wondered if Fedora-RedHat-IBM could have the bandwidth in time and persons to help developers shipping work via Flathub with a Gnome Software/KDE Discover/Flathub combination? I reference Brodie's "Ethically Monetizing FOSS..." episode and point to things like elementary.io #AppCenter as an example of how some can put up easy for consumer-easy for developer economic models that are equitable and respect developer's time and effort. Developers publish to PlayStore and AppStore but also get paid through the stores. Currently, I have to find whatever Patreon page for each of my favorite apps individually, leaving Gnome Software and going to my browser. "Pay-what-you-can" models work if they are easy. Can major distros make doing the right thing a little easier? Can a case be made that this kind of system could drive GPL'd idea generation that can later be picked up by RHEL?
