       Here’s a photo of my mom, who died at 85 yesterday in our home from pancreatic cancer. This was taken long before I was born and when she first started her career as a computer programmer in San Francisco, where my sister and I were later born. She was very stylish until we moved to Seattle and she discovered that no one got that dressed up for work. She learned to like pantsuits. 🙂

       @licked She trained a whole lot of people in FORTRAN and COBOL, and later BASIC.   She taught me how to use our Commodore 64. 😏
