@anthonyg @ParadeGrotesque It was my experience that attempting to follow users on mastodon.sdf.org would often not complete and it would say it was waiting for the follow request to be approved. My relatively uninformed guess was that the incoming event queues at mastodon.sdf.org had a high error rate or something and incoming follow requests were being lost. I gave up on trying to figure out how to follow people there, but it seems to have improved.

@coderCyclist @ParadeGrotesque I noticed some that too, especially when social was new and the instances were being overloaded.Here’s hoping those issues are behind us

@ParadeGrotesque @anthonyg @coderCyclist Fact is that mastodon.sdf.org hasn't been updated in months and it has experienced issues/bugs during that span. I have to be a lot concerned for our safety if they can't be bothered to update the instance despite me and other asking them.For example: the current Mastodon version is 4.1.2 and the SDF instance is still on 4.0.2.
