@schratze Isn't the second picture a negative portrayal? As in "don't become this", or "watch out for these idiots"? I agree it's tasteless (did that really just come out of MY mouth?!?!), and easily misinterpreted, but dunno if the account is really block worthy. *makes see-saw gesture*The rest of his feed appears to be very much in your face irony in questionable taste, but I don't really see Nazi, other than as a target.IMO & YMMV

I was aware of that eris drama (gosh eris just fight with anyone and everyone on fedi) when it happened, @schratze, hence I said your judgements are clouded. When you label someone as something, you need to point to what that person said or done, not the association. What’s next, the nazi also drink water?Judging people of a characteristic commonly stereotyped with a group one doesn’t like is the textbook definition of bigot. I mean, we evolved to be that way, and it doesn’t always have to be bad (e.g. against people with signs of diseases or physical enemies), just that doing it impulsively is just being a jerk and doesn’t help getting your political opponents to respect and listen to you. At the end of the day, you’d want some actual change and not winning on the interwebs by the 4chan way.BTW I’m young but still old enough to be growing up with 4chan, reddit and 9gag turning from left to right leaning majority. Many of the same people are still there, so don’t do the nazi the favor shunning your own allies because of their neighborhood and culture. That makes the difference between a leftist (who cares about make lives better for everyone) and a shitlib (who view all others as opponents and want them dead).The point of politics is to get people to agree on the matter at hands, and in a republic democracy it’s done via popularity. Don’t make everyone who doesn’t think the same your enemy.

@xarvos, I mostly get that vibe from generic IRC channels and subreddit, but yea I guess it’s not necessarily tech related. Normal people don’t jump in discussion saying one is wrong, refusing to elaborate then leaving.I mentioned @schratze seemed to have taken it as a personal attack because of subposting. One does not try to draw third-party’s attention without the second-party, especially when heavy accusation like nazi propaganda was drawn. Can’t believe I’m agreeing with gargron here, quote posting under negative lights is middle school drama all over again.
