@stux I can see the logistical problems but those can be considered without dehumanizing them.Things like: where is room for them to live, where are their kids going to school, is there enough capacity in the local hospital if they are sick/injured

@stux if we work together we can make room! The US has SO MUCH ROOM! The water issues some cities are crying about generally has to do with big ag. Cut back (or out!) beef in your diet and you majorly save water and carbon emissions.

Maybe you get saved?Then the country you reached hates you, and tries very hard to kick you out.After a while, you either get lucky or you become part of an undocumented class with nowhere to legally be.The chances to end up badly, or dead are quite high.

@stux Well said. No one is leaving behind the home they have known for their whole life and coming to a different country with barely any belongings because they are happy about it. Refugees had to leave because they were forced to under duress.
