My sister teaches in a Hawaiian immersion school (all classes from math to science to reading are taught in Hawaiian). The US is currently trying to shut her school down & force them into the 'standard' public schools. One Principal said recently, 'Kids must only speak English'. This is genocide.

As a Native Hawaiian, when Westerners bring up Uyghurs the moment I bring up your genocide of us, that just tells me the entire West doesn't care about us #indigenous presently or historically. You just want to 'make it ok' by saying 'everybody does it'. Then u fly to Hawaii.
