@hyde personally I am happy that a ton of brands usually have their factories at mexico, from Levi to Nike and whatever in between.Still my jeans are CimarrĂłn, a local brand that probably comes from the same factories as Levi anyways, same for many local shoe stores, I live relatively close to many factories of denim and leather products :blobcatderpy:

@hyde I feel your frustration. I too wish this to be resolved. It is a tough game when a lot do not care and it is a hard battle against monopolies at generally are allowed.I've been working hard to by local a lot over the past 4 years. @hyde @adamsdesk Y'all got duped. Voting with your wallet doesn't change anything. It's an illusion, it diverts responsibility to consumers, those over there that don't buy smartly and consciously. As long as growing profits is the organizing principle of economy, it will make profits to the detriment of everything else. This should be obvious by now, when facing the effects of climate crisis covered up for profit.
