@jayrosen_nyu I think Licht should be described as anti-woke "centrism" with scare quotes because there's no honest attempt to even do a fair "bothsides". If right-wing views got even half the media venom "wokeism" does the world would be a much better place in spite of the media efforts to avoid disclosing actual facts (because facts have a liberal bias, y'know).

@jayrosen_nyu Yep, centrism is just toned down radical right-wing ideology at this point. When one party is stands for racism, the correct position for a "moderate" to take is to condemn the racism.

@jayrosen_nyu anti-woke centrism is an oxymoron. AFAIK , there are Nazis (or white supremacists) and non-Nazis. No center. Some extremists on the left that enable the Nazis as well.
