       So Lloyds have pulled the rug out from under the remaining Barclay brother, after having concluded there was little chance of recovering the £1bn debt they are owed.... Next Q. will the #Murdoch operation pick up the Spectator?There's an old saying that when you owe the bank £100 its your problem, but when you owe the bank £1bn its there problem... well, if so Lloyds, has decided to push back & make the problem the Barclays after all...for many, small violins are all that is now required

       @ChrisMayLA6 Wonder if the bank can seize/cash any assets belonging to any Barclay - twins, children, spouses… or has all been put in an offshore system so the bank gets nothing: unless someone buys the media in question.

       @harriettmb As Lloyds have put the main holding company into receivership it seems that they are now able to install directors across the network of family businsses that were controlled by the holding company, the offshore network looks to be shifting under Lloyds 'influence' which also suggests Lloyds have a plan for liquidating the assets
