I learned a nice new Japanese word: 葛藤 can be read as "kattou", meaning "conflict, complication, troubles, discord"; but also as "tsuzurafuji", in which case it has two meanings: it's the name of a plant, Chinese moonseed, but also means "complex inter-relationship (as in the struggle between two types of vine over one piece of land)". 葛 is "tsuzura", Japanese arrowroot, better known as kudzu; 藤 is "fuji", wisteria; both are fastgrowing vines.#JapaneseLanguage
