       Using BBEdit  to basically*instantly* open and parse a .csv with 1.3 million rows while Numbers and Excel both effectively fall over and die is a reminder of why BBEdit isn’t JUST a ‘code editor’ and that every Mac user who can POSSIBLY afford it should buy it. ($%^&* me do I love this app… )

       @jon_alper How does that opening speed compare to other code editors though? Like VSCode?

       @shacker  Just tried it. It worked, and was reasonably quick (crushed Excel and Numbers) but it has window drag/resize artifacting which I’m going to GUESS is  likely a side effect of Electron.

       @shacker I am biased (I love the BarebBones people, the Macassed Mac App nature of their stuff, their business practices, I mean they just ‘do the right thing’ by me EVERY single time) and I don’t really code (I’m management scum) but BBEdit has been the first app I install on every Mac I own for decades.
